Cybercrime Threatens UK Businesses |

A while ago we wrote about how the proceeds of cybercrime were far greater than the proceeds from the sale of illegal drugs, according to a report by the US Treasury. A recent report has indicated that the threat to UK business is now also on the rise.
"UK business has never been so susceptible to the risk of serious electronic fraud and, unless that threat is taken much more seriously, and quickly, by way of a significant growth in their commitment to security and prevention measures, there will be a substantial increase, the cost of which will ultimately be passed on to the consumer," "On one site, the banking details of 100 people with £1m or more in their accounts were offered for sale.
